Seaside vistas of beautiful white sandy beaches

Earlier this week I was in Destin and Seaside, Florida. Oh how I love those beaches, pure white silicon sand and blue, aqua, emerald green waters. The sea oaks were prime for their annual fall sowing of seeds and the weather was like paradise except in the mornings, so cold.

I love landscapes. I love travel. And I love photographing landscapes while I travel. Below is a small sampling of those gorgeous Gulf Coast beaches  {note: no oil, never has been, but the media robbed the residents their of their summer & fall revenues. There were so many business closed or going out and the remaining businesses had huge sales of 40 to 70% off some were storewide. Geez, got off the subject here, but someone has to tell this very sad story that our media did.}

The Romance & Wedding of an American & Frenchman in Shanghai via Nashville

The first time I met Cydnie & Cyril, I knew their wedding was going to be spectacular, international, and filled with passion and romance - ingredients I adore! Oh boy was it ever!!!! I felt so at home with everyone and just loved Cyril's family from Lyon, France.

Alas, I am getting ahead of myself here. There's always wonderful stories to every couple and how their weddings come about. Cydnie has a fascinating and most envious story to be told. When Cydnie finished college in East Tennessee, she went on to Barcelona to continue studying and then to Lyon where she met Cyril. Well, Cyril gets a transfer with his clothing company to Shanghai to oversee all production there. Cydnie in turn moves to Shanghai as well and pursues her PHd there in infectious diseases. However, the wedding is in her home state and what a great time we all had meeting all the families and friends from all over the world.

This was a fabulous wedding and much credit goes to Alice Hendry, wedding planner, who really helped Cydnie and her parents fulfill their wedding dream. It was such a beautiful wedding too.

The ceremony was at the Wills Garden at Cheekwood and the reception at the luxurious Hermitage Hotel, Nashville's only 5 star hotel. The spectacular cake was created by Stacy at the French Confection Cakes and the flowers were beautifully arranged and presented by Village of Flowers. Cydnie & Cyril's get away car, a vintage blue Jaguar, that brought them back to the Hermitage for an After Party was provided by Matchless Limo. As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words...tis enjoy the many chapters below!
