Last month I was honored to photograph Bertha & Luis' wedding at St Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, Tennessee. Their most gorgeous wedding was a book all unto itself. Everything about the wedding including Bertha's Manuel Mota's Pronovias wedding gown was Spainish or Mexican. And her cathedral length veil, one of the most beautiful veils I have ever seen, was crafted by hand in Mexico. The ceremony was performed in Spainish and the Mariachi viva Jalisco band played the most beautiful Spanish music during the full mass ceremony.
The ceremony was so cool. I began photographing Bertha at home getting ready and then running to her vintage silver Jaguar from Matchless Limo and straight to the ceremony. Upon arriving to St Philip, the church lady was anxiously waiting for the bride's arrival as over 300 guests were already seated the ceremony could not begin until Bertha arrived! She was escorted by her parents as immediately got out of the Jag and walked down the isle to meet Luis who was waiting at the alter with a huge grin on his face! And the rest is history...oh, the reception at the Factory at Franklin, now that was a different story to be told later, what a Great and one I will never forget!
Hasta la vista,
David
